How do I apply for membership?

You can apply for membership by contacting us through our website or by visiting the club in person. We'll walk you through the application process and help you find the membership tier that best fits your needs.

What are the club hours?

Members have 7-day access from sun up to sun down. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. After-hours contact is available based on availability.

Can I bring guests to the club?

Yes! All membership tiers include guest privileges. The number of guest passes varies by membership level, with our Exclusive tier offering unlimited guest passes.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

While many members bring their own shotguns and equipment, rentals and supplies are available for those who need them. Clay targets and ammunition are available for purchase on-site.

Is there a minimum age requirement?

We welcome shooters of all ages! Youth shooters under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We offer youth instruction programs designed specifically for young shooters to learn safely.

What if I've never shot sporting clays before?

We welcome beginners! Our certified instructors offer lessons for all skill levels. We recommend booking an introductory session where you'll learn safety protocols, proper technique, and get comfortable with the sport.

RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING. THIS IS A LEGAL DOCUMENT THAT AFFECTS YOUR RIGHTS.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in shooting sports activities, use facilities, equipment, and services at Traditions Field Club, located at 13197 Low Country Hwy, Ruffin, SC 29475 ("the Club"), I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, personal representatives, and assigns, agree as follows:

1. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISKS

I understand and acknowledge that participation in shooting sports activities, including but not limited to sporting clays, 5-stand, trap, skeet, and archery, involves inherent risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries. These risks include, but are not limited to:

Accidental discharge of firearms
Ricochet or fragmentation of ammunition, shot, or clay targets
Equipment malfunction or failure
Hearing damage from firearm discharge
Eye injury from debris or discharge
Falls, trips, or slips on varied terrain
Exposure to weather conditions including heat, cold, and lightning
Actions of other participants or third parties
Negligence of other participants, the Club, its employees, or agents
Serious bodily injury or death

2. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any and all risks of injury, illness, death, or property damage arising from my participation in activities at the Club, whether or not caused by the negligence of the Club, its owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, or other participants. I acknowledge that I am participating voluntarily and have chosen to do so despite the risks.

3. RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY

I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Traditions Field Club, its owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliates (collectively "Releasees") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me or my property, while participating in activities at or traveling to or from the Club, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise.

4. INDEMNIFICATION

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Releasees from any and all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities, including attorney's fees, brought as a result of my involvement in activities at the Club and to reimburse them for any such expenses incurred.

5. SAFETY RULES AND CONDUCT

I agree to abide by all safety rules and regulations of the Club, including but not limited to:

Treating all firearms as if they are loaded at all times
Never pointing a firearm at anything I do not intend to shoot
Keeping my finger off the trigger until ready to shoot
Being sure of my target and what is beyond it
Wearing eye and ear protection at all times on the range
Keeping firearms unloaded and actions open when not in use
Not possessing or consuming alcohol or drugs anywhere on club property
Following all instructions from Club staff and range officers

I understand that violation of any safety rule may result in immediate removal from the premises and termination of any membership privileges without refund.

6. MEDICAL TREATMENT AUTHORIZATION

I authorize the Club and its staff to obtain emergency medical treatment for me if I am unable to provide consent at the time of emergency. I understand that I am responsible for any costs associated with such medical treatment.

7. PHOTO AND VIDEO RELEASE

I grant the Club permission to use photographs, video recordings, and other media of my participation in activities for promotional, educational, and marketing purposes without compensation.

8. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Colleton County, South Carolina. If any portion of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.

9. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF UNDERSTANDING

I have read this Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement, fully understand its terms, understand that I have given up substantial rights by signing it, and sign it freely and voluntarily without any inducement.
